Skuld is a game made by me and Marcus Svensson during the game jam BossJam3 in 2015. The game jam lasted for 40 hours and the theme was “En svensk tiger” (which is swedish and can be interpreted as both “A Swedish tiger” and “A Swede keeps quiet”). The game is developed in Unity3D 5.
My main contribution to the project was the art style and animations. I acted as graphical artist during this project while Marcus did most of the coding. The game is about a depressed Swede living an ordinary day of unemployment and guilt. The overall game play is really slow and depressing (and boring?), which is semi-intended. I guess it is one of those games that was more fun to develop than to play. The dialogs are quite a mess since Marcus had the task of writing them 10 minutes before release with having severe lack of sleep.
